13 November, 2006 -- Stephanie was hit by a car while walking to work one Sunday night. She was in intensive care for three weeks, unconscious but not in a coma. During that time, she survived a bout with pneumonia, a scare over meningitis, and a suspicion of staph infection.
4 December, 2006 -- After the biggest snow storm in recent memory, Stephanie was moved to a nearby rehabilitation center for intensive therapy to overcome the serious brain injury she sustained from the accident. For more details, check here.
August, 2006 -- Fr. Selvin Garcia is a missionary in Kenya. He has been working among the Muslim population. Both he and his companion priest (the missionaries are sent out in pairs) have found themselves in serious danger, including a note containing a death threat that his companion found when he opened the church for Wednesday night services. Please pray for their safety as well as the success of their mission. For more details, check here.

Eternal Father, in Whom mercy is endless, and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, Look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair, nor become despondent, but with great confidence, submit ourselves to Your Holy Will, which is Love and Mercy itself.
